How we handle payment, collection and delivery

This process has been produced in order to demonstrate the procedure administered by with regards to the payment, collection and delivery for items won in any auction.

The Process

All auctions are held on the last Sunday of every month will delivery and collections available the week commencing the auction as follows:

Collections from our Liverpool office available from 9am the following Wednesday

Deliveries to the South of England available from 9am the following Thursday

Deliveries to the North of England including Scotland the following Friday

Should a client wish to receive their watch on any of these days must have received cleared funds for outstanding invoices by 5pm on the Tuesday following the auction. In the event of a bank holiday, each day will move by one working day.

If WatchAuction fail to receive cleared funds by 5pm on the Tuesday any requested deliveries will not be arranged until the following week on the same listed days, however clients are free to collect from Liverpool throughout the week by appointment where cleared funds have been received.

Handling fees are charged at £35 and all lots are subject to this charge. (If you have won multiple lots you will be charged one handling fee)

Deliveries not in the UK will be subject to a calculation of estimation added to the invoice.

For example deliveries in Europe are estimated around £185. This will be either sent via our tracked courier service or through our direct hand delivery service. Estimations can only be given, due to weight and size of box that may come with the lot.


At the discretion of clients will incur fees when failing to pay for any items won within 7 days.

We require a £500 bidding deposit to deter individuals from bidding at without intent to purchase. We strongly advise that you only bid on watches if you are committed to purchase them. We recommend you view the watches you intend to purchase as refunds will not be given for bidding mistakes.



As of 5pm on the first Friday following the auction, will commence with our underbidding process against any unpaid items.

What that means for you:

If you have failed to make payment against your invoice by 5pm on the Friday mentioned, the item will be offered to the first under bidder, If this or any subsequent under bidder accepts to purchase the lot the item will be sold (upon cleared funds).

If sold, at its discretion may offset any funds against the total fee’s outstanding to the original non paying bidder.
